Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence (NDS) Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence (NDS), based in Santa Clara County, is the largest and oldest provider of services addressing the impacts of domestic violence at the individual and community level.
June 11, 2022 HIF is bringing together the cycling community to hit the Coyote Creek Trail at Hellyer County Park! We’re raising funds to prevent homelessness and help individuals and families in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties stay securely housed so our communities can thrive.
19 teams came out to kick homelessness. In total, HIF raised a record of over $50,000 from this tournament!
In 2020, Essex Property Trust established the Essex Cares program to provide direct aid to Essex’s residents, associates, and local communities. Essex Cares is governed by a committee made up of designees from Essex’s senior management, corporate departments, and executive advisors.
HIF engaged corporate champion American Asphalt to complete a renovation of Project Ninety's San Mateo recovery residence driveway and pathway. The market value of this project was in excess of $14,000 at no cost to Caminar and Project 90, thereby keeping valuable resources focused on assisting individuals in Project 90's alcohol and substance treatment services.
The Sobrato Organization has been a strong champion of HIF for many years. HIF is fortunate to have Elizabeth Meadows (Asset Manager for The Sobrato Organization) serve on HIF’s Board of Directors.
Maitri’s Anjali Transitional Housing Program houses survivors in a safe and sheltered environment, allowing the women in the program to transition into an empowered, self-sufficient, and independent life.
Having joined Sares-Regis in 2013, Darrin has more than 24 years of property management experience and a diverse understanding of the Northern California multi-family markets.
Ms. Caudill joined Sequoia in 2007. She received a Master of Arts degree in Speech Communications and holds a Certified Property Manager designation. She is an active IREM member and holds a California real estate license.
As the Delta variant continued to spread, we made the difficult decision to move the 2021 September Summit online. While this was not the in-person event we were hoping for, we celebrated our impact and industry.

HIF was proud to be the Nonprofit of the Night on Saturday, February 1st for the San Jose Sharks vs. The Tampa Bay Lightning game! All proceeds will benefit our Homeless Prevention and Affordable Housing Programs!
