“I was fortunate enough to receive assistance from HIF for two years, which made it possible for me to afford stable housing and pay off my school loans.
At the beginning of the global pandemic, my partner Thao became unemployed and HIF provided the opportunity for her to have a roof over her head as she searched for work. Fortunately she was able to obtain a job, increasing our income as a whole which allowed us to transition out of the AHI program.
We are grateful that this opportunity increased our financial stability and proud to transition out of the AHI program. We hope that HIF continues to grow giving access to those in need of stable housing.”
