RENOVATION PROJECT: AACI

In 2025, HIF and vendor champion Smart Building completed a renovation project AACI: Asian Woman’s Home!

With the support of Aquatek, ABCabient, HD Supply, and Champion Smart Building, we were able to add two kitchen islands along with an additional sink and disposal to meet the shelter’s need for increased cooking and prep space, storage, and improved flow during meal times. These improvements significantly enhance safety and health for both residents and staff.

“This kitchen remodel will truly transform the heart of the shelter for our clients. We’re excited to have a space with more room to prep, gather, and store things. The kitchen and living room is where people come together, share stories, cook meals, and unwind after a long day. These upgrades will elevate those everyday moments and help foster even deeper connection and comfort that Asian Women’s Home truly strives for.”

– Janelle, AACI
