HIF collaborates with a network of local partner agencies that provide the casework for our emergency housing grants of up to $2,500 benefiting low-income households facing homelessness. The emergency service agencies qualify recipients and send grant applications to HIF on behalf of their clients. See our current partner agencies below:

Our Mission

The Housing Industry Foundation’s (HIF) mission is to help individuals and families remain in or return to stable housing through our Homeless Prevention Programs including emergency assistance grants, shelter renovations and affordable housing initiatives.

What We Do

Through extensive relationships with service agencies, non-profits and other community based organizations, HIF is able to evaluate and qualify recipients for emergency housing grants, identify priority renovation needs for shelters and assist teachers, non-profit and other public sector workers secure affordable housing options.
