The Housing Industry Foundation (HIF) is a private, non-profit organization helping people overcome a housing crisis through personal grants and shelter improvements. For more information about HIF, you can return to the home page of our website.

  • General Contribution

    All administrative costs are supported by contributions from the board of directors. 100% of your donation will go directly back to the community.

  • Board Membership Dues

    HIF is a multi-family housing industry-based organization with its support coming from local companies and individuals, such as apartment owners, builders, Realtors, mortgage bankers, accountants, attorneys, insurance companies and other related businesses.

  • 2012 September Summit Dinner

    The bay area’s premier multifamily networking event with over 800 industry professionals.

  • 2012 Thoits Texas Hold’em

    All gamblers welcome for an evening of strategy, bluffing and networking all for a great cause.

  • Corporate Champion

    A company-sponsored employee volunteer workday where staff can participate in a team-building experience helping HIF on a renovation project.

  • Volunteer Investment Partner (VIP)

    Each month, HIF runs out of funding for our emergency housing grants, so our VIP’s step in and help HIF save another family from homelessness.

  • Holiday Giving Program
