Renovation Program

About the HIF Renovation Program

HIF supports nonprofit agencies in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties that provide permanent, transitional and temporary housing and safe environments for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Leveraging our vast network and resources within the multifamily industry, HIF completes small and large-scale renovations at no cost to our grantees, allowing these organizations to focus their budgets on the clients and communities they serve.

Thanks to the collaboration and support from our industry partners, vendors and board members, HIF is able to complete high quality renovations and facilities improvements significantly impacting our grantee’s bottom line and service capacity. Through the Renovation Program, HIF has helped facilities serving homeless veterans, men and women in recovery, victims of domestic violence, seniors, foster youth and families.

For Non-Profit Housing & Homeless Services Organizations:

If your non-profit organization provides permanent or transitional housing and services for individuals and families impacted by homelessness and your facility could benefit from an HIF Renovation, please contact renovations@hifinfo.org.

For Corporate Sponsorship:

HIF is able to provide these no-cost renovations thanks, in part, to our “Corporate Champion” program, which creates unique opportunities for corporate volunteer teams to improve the quality of life of local individuals and families. Learn more about what you can do to become HIF’s next Corporate Champion here.
