Our Mission

The Housing Industry Foundation’s (HIF) mission is to prevent homelessness, build relationships, and strengthen communities through two core programs: emergency financial support and the renovation of community shelters.

What We Do

Through extensive relationships with service agencies, non-profits and other community based organizations, HIF is able to evaluate and qualify recipients for emergency housing grants, identify priority renovation needs for shelters and assist teachers, non-profit and other public sector workers secure affordable housing options.
